Parent Information

The following are common questions parents ask when trying to mail or ship items to their students:

How early can I begin sending mail or packages to my student for the academic year?

We ask that you refrain from shipping mail or other items to your student earlier than two weeks prior to his/her arrival on campus.

How do I address USPS mail or packages to my student?

Box XXXX

How do I address UPS or FedEx envelopes or packages to my student?

Where is the campus Post Office located?

Mail Services is located on the first floor of the Benson University Center.

Do students keep the same box all four years?

Yes, unless the student moves off campus for senior year. If a student moves off campus, he/she is required to notify Mail Services so the box can be freed up for another student. If he/she wishes to keep the same box after moving off campus, the cost is $100 per year.

How can my student get his/her mail forwarded during the summer?

Mail Services puts a flyer in each student’s box with instructions on how to have the mail forwarded for the summer. If your student did not see the flyer in his or her post office box, ask the student to see one of the Mail Services staff for assistance.

How can I send flowers to my student’s residence hall?

All student floral deliveries must go through Wake Forest Mail Services on campus because residence halls are locked to non-students. When a delivery is made to Mail Services, Mail Services staff will email the student alerting him/her to the fact that they have a floral arrangement to pick up. When parents order from a florist, use the address format listed above.
